Zoom is unlikely unless I figure out how to make it significantly faster. I have some small things I want to add and improve, but it will likely be a slow process. If you have more feature requests, I'd love to hear them though. It might make it easier to prioritize this project :)
Thanks for the feedback! I don't have access to a playdate myself, so I don't know what the experience is. I was under the impression it was OK in the latest version. I know there is still room for improvement, so if it bothers you, I can pick it up.
That would be greatly appreciated. If you scrub diagonally in one direction it drops to around 10fps. If you’re trying to cause slow down and just roll your thumb on the dpad, it drops to sub 5 fps.
How do you mean? Your high score is already shown in the top-left. It currently only saves when you die -- not when you exit the game. I will fix this in an upcoming release
Loving it so far! One thing I noticed though - you can mash A repeatedly on a tile you've already revealed to run up your score. I suspect this probably isn't intended behavior.

Any news on a fix for the frame rate while scrolling around? I’ve been wanting to play this but it feels pretty bad.

I noticed that if you press A while a flagged tile is selected, the entire game starts over.
I love this, but could we perhaps make it where you cannot die on the first square? Lol
I second this request. I've had the first tile I click turn out to be a mine as many as five games in a row.
I have this in the web version and it honestly isn't that helpful. you just die on the second square 🤡
I'll definitely address this in a future update though.

0.2.2 crashes on launch (the previous version worked fine)
I'm sorry 😥 It should be fixed in the latest build. I don't have the device yet, and it ran fine in the simulator.
The new build works great. Performance is much smoother.
version 0.2.4 : the auto open feature really helps a lot.
in version 2.1 when you press the dpad repeatedly the movement of the board is choppy
if you spam the dpad the dirty parts on the screen don’t get redrawn
